A resident of Krasnoyarsk got under the wheels of a freight train and survived. He was hospitalized with serious injuries, the press service of the transport department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Siberian Federal District reported on its social networks.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening, October 4, in the area of the Railway Hospital platform. The man ignored the safety rules and ended up in a track rut at the moment when the train was already approaching the platform. The driver applied emergency braking, but it was not possible to avoid a collision.

The victim was a 35-year-old citizen, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. The circumstances of the incident are being established. The materials collected by the transport police were sent to the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia for further verification.
