According to the plot, Yan Caiwei's life (played by two star actresses at once: Zheng Hehuizi and Ju Jingyi) was filled with hopes and close friendship with Prince Pan Yue (Liu Xueyi from the projects "The Wind will help you walk a thousand li", "Ancient Love Poetry", "Blood of Youth")... But fate has prepared a different future for the heroine. Her parents tragically die, and she miraculously escapes, having received a "gift" in the form of an ugly scar on her face.

Ten years later, Yan Caiwei and Pan Yue cross paths again, after which the hero asks for the hand of his childhood friend, whom he has always been in love with. This is not to the liking of the haughty beauty Shangguan Zhi, who is trying in every possible way to woo the prince. A jealous rival kidnaps Yan Caiwei, after which the girls mysteriously change their bodies. Shangguan Zhi takes the opportunity to attend the wedding and suddenly dies. The main suspect is Pan Yue. Now Yan Caiwei will have to face the shadows of the past again and find out who is really behind all these events.
