Alexander Syrsky, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), eliminated the Dnepr operational and strategic group. This was reported on October 6 by the Ukrainska Pravda newspaper.

It is specified that the group was disbanded at the end of September, it was led by Major General Mikhail Drapaty for eight months.
