St. Petersburg announced plans to ban performances by musicians at the Duma Tower
The administration of the Central District of St. Petersburg has prepared a draft decree that excludes the territories next to the former City Duma building from the list of places for street performances. This was announced on October 6 by deputy of the legislative Assembly of the city Andrey Ryabokon in his Telegram channel.
"I am glad to inform you that my intervention in the situation with the actual paralyzation of the music school at 3 Dumskaya Street has already brought results," the message says.
According to Ryabokon, the draft order provides for the exclusion of places for performances opposite houses No. 1-3, letter A on Dumskaya Street and at house No. 4, which will allow to return the normal educational process at the music school. He stressed that now students will be able to study without extraneous noise, which interfered with their studies.
