The Forum is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Association "Federal Self-Regulatory Organization of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Russia" (FSRO ABVR). The co–organizer is Rosselkhoznadzor. The strategic scientific partner is the Kurchatov Institute National Research Center.
The "theme " is Russian wine. The first five-year plan" speaks for itself. The results of this period, which began with the adoption of Federal Law No. 468-FZ, are noteworthy."About viticulture and winemaking“ in 2020. I am confident that the importance of the Russian Wine Forum, which has already proved its importance as the main industry platform, will only increase every year in this regard," said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Forum's Organizing Committee.
The program pays special attention to the regulation of the industry. Strategic session "The practice of regulating and supporting domestic winemaking. Questions from winemakers and answers from the state" will become a platform for dialogue between producers and authorities. The participants will discuss mechanisms for improving the legislative framework and support measures.
The business program of the Forum is designed for two days and includes discussions, sessions and practical events. On the first day, research on consumer demand, the impact of climate change on winemaking, the development of specialized education, as well as the architectural design of wineries will be considered.
On the second day, the discussion will focus on the promotion of Russian wine. The program includes presentations by chefs and sommeliers about wine in the context of new Russian cuisine, presentations by young oenologists, a wine and tourism section, as well as a separate discussion on the production of non-alcoholic wine.
The traditional Vinologiya platform will present breakfasts with Russian wines and dishes from leading restaurateurs, tastings, master classes and discussions with the participation of specialized media. The current directions will also be considered – northern winemaking and the development of wine as an investment asset.
One of the key events of the Forum will be the presentation of the annual Prince Lev Golitsyn Award for viticulture and winemaking "For contribution to Russian winemaking", as well as the awards of the ABVR Cup 2025.
In addition, the forum will traditionally host the AWB Summit, which, according to tradition, is the annual reporting meeting of the Association. The participants will discuss both completed tasks and promising issues related to the development of the industry and the work of the AWB.
