The Kislovodsk Marathon brought together athletes and supporters of healthy lifestyle from different regions

The Kislovodsk Marathon, which took place in the Stavropol Territory, brought together athletes, running enthusiasts and supporters of a healthy lifestyle from different regions of Russia. The marathon has become not only a sports festival, but also a symbol of the strategic development of the Stavropol Territory as a territory of health, longevity and active tourism, the organizers said.

The Mayrveda Kislovodsk Center for Preventive Medicine became the title sponsor of the marathon. The event is organized jointly with the Kavkaz.Run project.

"In the heart of the North Caucasus Federal District, in Kislovodsk, the most important and numerous race of the macroregion, the Mayrveda Kislovodsk Marathon, took place. The height difference over the full distance is over 1.1 km, making it the most challenging marathon in the country. I am glad that our team played the first fiddle as a titular partner and took an active part in the organization," said Roman Chichkanov, founder of Mayrveda.

The marathon route took place along the trails of Europe's largest mountain park. The event was opened by Yuri Kovalenko, Deputy Chairman of the Stavropol Territory Government.
One of the invited star guests was football player Alexey Smertin. "If we talk about the marathon, then every step through the local landscapes is a small victory. And to walk the whole way with dignity, the secret is simple: move forward with a smile — and any distance turns into pleasure," he said.

According to the organizers, the Kislovodsk Marathon is an example of the synergy of business, government and society, when sport becomes a tool for the development of the region and the strengthening of social values.
