The forecaster predicted warm weather this week in Moscow and the Moscow region.
Warm weather is expected in Moscow and the Moscow region this week, with air temperatures reaching +12...+14 degrees. Alexander Shuvalov, a weather forecaster, meteorologist, and climatologist, told Izvestia on October 6.
"We will have rains only today and on Friday, maybe the second half of Thursday will still be covered by rains. There will be a short break in the rains, but fogs are possible at night," the expert said.
The forecaster drew attention to the fact that rainy days will alternate with sunny periods. At night, the air temperature in Moscow and the region will fluctuate between +3...+8 degrees, fogs may also occur in places.
In addition, Shuvalov noted that no frosts are expected in the region until Friday, and the daytime hours promise to be quite warm.
"Warm weather with daytime temperatures up to +12...+14 degrees predisposes to this," the meteorologist concluded.
Earlier, on October 3, during a press conference, Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, told the Izvestia News Center that the air temperature in October is expected to be above normal. He also urged to appreciate the current weather and stressed that in the near future the air temperature is still forecast to reach +13 ...+15 degrees.
