While searching for a missing family near Krasnoyarsk, 30 square kilometers of taiga were surveyed

To search for the missing Usoltsev family in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the criminal investigation department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region was connected, 30 square kilometers of taiga were surveyed. This was reported on October 6 in the press service of the department.

"Operatives of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region joined the search, including Natalia Penkova, head of the Department for coordinating the activities of the internal affairs bodies for the search for persons," the report said.

The ministry also clarified that law enforcement officers had repeatedly interviewed eyewitnesses and viewed video surveillance footage in the village of Kuturchin.

It is noted that a total of 23 groups are involved in the search, involving ATVs, paragliders, drones, and families of dog training teams. In addition, law enforcement officers examined 30 square kilometers of taiga.

Earlier that day, the group involved in the search and rescue of the missing family increased to 356 people and 47 pieces of equipment.

The search for the Usoltsev family in a wooded area near the Minsk Loop was reported on October 2. It was clarified that they were looking for a man and a woman born in 1961 and 1977, as well as their five-year-old child. The family was moving towards Mount Pinocchio, but after five days of no contact with their relatives, their whereabouts were not found out. However, the family's car was found soon after.

In addition, Oksana Zhdanyuk, a friend of the missing Irina Usoltseva, told Izvestia that the family had not disclosed the details of the planned walk, but most likely they had changed their route. At the same time, one of the versions of the disappearance of a family of tourists in the Krasnoyarsk Territory implies that the man became ill, and the woman and child could not get out.
