From September 27 to October 5, the autumn season of the volunteer project "Time for Good" brought together over 3,000 Muscovites. This was reported on October 6 on the capital's portal. mos.ru .
"The large-scale annual project "Time of Kindness" has become a launching pad into the world of volunteerism for many residents of the city, and for some it is a good family tradition. Unique workshops, new events and useful promotions brought together citizens of all ages from season to season," said Ekaterina Dragunova, Chairman of the Committee on Public Relations and Youth Policy of the City of Moscow.
A program was prepared for the participants, which consisted of more than 65 socially useful events in various areas of volunteerism. Most of the events were dedicated to helping the participants of the special military operation (SVO), their families, veterans and residents of new regions of Russia.
Volunteers made anti-thermal blankets for the SVO fighters, non-extinguishing matches that burn for up to 10-15 minutes in strong winds, and created a compact and efficient dry shower necessary when access to regular water is limited.
For military personnel, the project participants wove multifunctional camouflage nets and tactical bracelets that help secure loads and equipment. In addition, everyone was taught how to knit warm products from special yarn for the defenders.
The volunteers also joined other useful actions — they collected waste paper, plastic and lids, brought pet supplies for animals from shelters in the Belgorod region. In total, we managed to collect more than 10 tons of pet food and accessories. The collection of assistance to homeless animals in the region will continue until October 20. Food, medicines and accessories can be brought to all the "Good Place" centers.

The volunteers actively helped in collecting gifts for the participants of the SVO and children from new regions. More than 4,9 thousand gifts were collected for the participants of the SVO.
