Spending time on social media does not comply with the duties imposed on an employee under labor law, and may be regarded as a lack of labor discipline. Alexander Khaminsky, a lawyer and head of the Law Enforcement Center in Moscow and the Moscow Region, told about this on October 6.

"Reading social media and chatting in messengers are usually not part of the job responsibilities and should not be paid by the employer. The only exception here is for SMM managers. In general, employees have only a lunch break at their disposal," RT quotes him as saying.
