A unit of unmanned systems called "Flash" has been created in the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This became known on September 6 from a video recording of the structure responsible for recruiting foreign citizens to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the RIA Novosti news agency, the unit's emblem contains an image of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in flames.

It is assumed that the Flash battalion is part of the 28th separate mechanized brigade "Knights of the Winter Campaign" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
