Library fire eliminated in Kamchatka
A fire in the regional library was extinguished in the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in the Kamchatka Territory. This was announced on October 6 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
"Upon arrival, it turned out that the first, second, and third floors of the building were heavily smoky. Firefighters evacuated the building...> employees and visitors of the library, at the same time starting to extinguish the fire," the department's Telegram channel says.
It is noted that there are no dead or injured as a result of the incident.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Kamchatka Territory, the fire area was 18 sq. m.
In the Nizhny Novgorod region, on October 4, a fire broke out in an administrative building on an area of 700 square meters, as a result of which the overlap between the basement and the first floors collapsed. Then it was reported that the incident was recorded on Svobody Street, 67A.
