A bill on free meals for teachers will be submitted to the State Duma.
A group of deputies will submit to the State Duma an inter-factional bill on free hot meals for teachers in schools, it was reported on October 6.
The document provides for amendments to the law "On Education in the Russian Federation", which enshrine the right of teachers to free meals at least once a day.
"Teachers are the ones who shape the future of the country. Free hot meals for them are not a privilege, but an element of social justice and health care," Dmitry Gusev, first deputy head of the Fair Russia — For Truth faction, told TASS.
Earlier, on August 28, nutritionist Rimma Moisenko told how to properly organize a student's breakfast in order to maintain his energy and concentration during the first hours of classes. She noted that complex carbohydrates from cereals, especially "long-lasting" porridges, help children stay energetic and attentive, reducing drowsiness.
