Medinsky will take into account the wishes of teachers for a new history textbook

Vladimir Medinsky, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation and head of the Russian Military Historical Society, announced the revision of the history textbook for the sixth grade. The work is being carried out taking into account the wishes of teachers, methodologists and parents, he said on October 5.

"Today, on Teacher's Day, I've been working on the revision of the textbook for the sixth grade since morning. There will be a second edition in response to the wishes of teachers and parents," Medinsky wrote on his Telegram channel.

He noted that the new version of the textbook will be more understandable and interesting for schoolchildren, without unnecessary numbers and elements of cramming, which is a common practice when updating educational materials.
