WP noted the inability of Patriot systems to cope with Russian missiles over Ukraine

The American-made Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems (SAMs) were unable to effectively intercept Russian missiles at targets in Ukraine. This was reported on October 5 by The Washington Post (WP).
