21 more electric buses entered the routes of the south-west and north-west of Moscow, 14 ultra-fast charging stations were installed at the new terminals. This was announced on October 5 by the Department of Transport of the capital.

Deputy Mayor for Transport Maxim Liksutov noted that 168 terminal stations are already operating in the city, more than 30 of which are equipped with charging stations. New venues have appeared on Balaklavsky Avenue and Nizhni Mnevniki Street, the Moscow City News Agency reports.

Thanks to them, four new routes have been opened: No. 993 Bolshaya Yushunskaya Street – Ramenki metro station, No. 273 Bolshaya Yushunskaya Street – UDN metro station, C280 Krylatskoye – Cardiocenter and C918 Bolshaya Yushunskaya Street – Akademicheskaya metro station.

Comfortable conditions for drivers have been created at the terminals — rest rooms, showers and first-aid posts, and transport now starts the route closer to passengers, which reduces waiting time.

Currently, modern Russian-made KamAZ-52222 generation A5 electric buses run on the routes. In 2025-2027, it is planned to supply 1,100 such electric buses, writes Moscow 24.

At the end of August, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, approved the draft layout of the Lukhmanovskaya transport hub, which included the Nekrasovskaya metro station of the same name and stops of ground urban passenger transport. It will include a sports facility, multifunctional and shopping and entertainment complexes, as well as a turntable and charging stations for electric buses, NSN notes.
