Malyshev left the post of CEO of Spartak after the defeat
After losing the capital derby to CSKA Moscow (2:3), Spartak CEO Oleg Malyshev leaves his post on October 6. The decision was made on its own initiative, it was reported on October 5.
"Malyshev has been working at the club since June 2023 and has been involved in the modernization of the stadium, the organization of shows and the revival of Spartak-2," the newspaper Sport-Express noted.
He remains on the board of directors, and a representative of the Lukoil owner company will become the new CEO.
Next week, Spartak Sports Director Francis Cahigao will hold a meeting with Lukoil management to discuss the results of the season and the club's future plans.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that in the Russian Premier League (RPL) derby, CSKA defeated Spartak 3-2 at the VEB Arena. Kirill Glebov, Ivan Oblyakov and Daniil Krugovoy scored goals for the Army team, while Jedson Fernandes and Levi Garcia scored for Spartak.
