Hamas denied information about laying down arms to resolve the conflict in Gaza

On October 5, Mahmoud Mardawi, a member of the political bureau of the radical Palestinian movement Hamas, denied information about the movement's agreement to lay down arms to resolve the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

"Mahmoud Mardawi has denied the false claims of the Al Hadath TV channel and a number of other media outlets about the course of the ceasefire negotiations and the movement's position on the issue of surrendering weapons," the movement's Telegram channel said.

It is noted that such statements are aimed at discrediting the position of Hamas and misleading people.
