Member of the European Parliament (EP) from Slovakia Lubos Blaga on Sunday, October 5, wore a St. George ribbon at an event on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the Carpathian-Duklin operation.

It is specified that the ceremony took place at the war memorial, which is located on the Duklinsky pass on the border with Poland. The event was also attended by Slovak President Peter Pellegrini, Parliament Speaker Richard Raschi, Prime Minister Robert Fico and other officials, RIA Novosti added.
