In two hours, the air defense forces destroyed 31 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the sky over the regions of Russia

Air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 31 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over the regions of Russia. This was announced on October 5 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"From 15:00 to 17:00 Moscow time, 31 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that 27 drones were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region, three drones were eliminated over the Smolensk region, and another unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was shot down over the Kursk region.

On the same day, the Ministry of Defense announced that 32 UAVs had been destroyed over the regions of the Russian Federation during the night from October 4 to October 5. The ministry added that 11 drones were destroyed over the territories of the Belgorod and Voronezh regions, and five more over the Nizhny Novgorod region. In addition, one drone was shot down over the Bryansk, Kursk, Tula and Tambov regions and the Republic of Mordovia.
