Putin and Rahmon discussed Russian President's visit to Tajikistan

Russian President Vladimir Putin, congratulating Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on his birthday by phone, discussed with him his upcoming visit to the republic. This was reported on the Kremlin's website on October 5.

"During the telephone conversation, Vladimir Putin warmly congratulated President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on his birthday. Issues related to the preparation of the upcoming state visit of the President of the Russian Federation to Tajikistan were touched upon," the statement said.
