The neighbor of the deceased Russian woman told about the floods in Bulgaria
During the flooding in the Bulgarian resort complex of Elenite, people who had taken refuge at home were in great danger, as water began to enter the premises too. On October 5, Elena Gizbrecht, a neighbor of a Russian citizen who died as a result of the disaster, told about this.
"The water began to break into my apartment and broke down the front door. I was thrown into the bedroom. The bed rose, the wardrobe tilted so that it began to block the passage from the bedroom to the exit to the street," she recalls.
It is noted that the women were friends and often spent leisure time together. The villa of the deceased Petersburger was located just 10 m from the Giesbrecht house.
The interviewee also suggested that her friend could also be trapped in the house due to flooding.
"I can imagine how difficult it was for her to get out, because at that moment she had a bad leg and had high blood pressure," the woman said.
The flooding in the Elenite complex on the Black Sea coast became known a day earlier. As a result, four people died, including a 58-year-old Russian woman, whose body was buried under mud and debris.
