The Israeli Air Force intercepted a missile fired from Yemen. This was announced on October 5 by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) in its Telegram channel.

"The IDF recorded the launch of a rocket from Yemen towards Israel. <...> After sirens sounded some time ago in several areas of Israel, a rocket launched from Yemen was intercepted by the Israeli Air Force," the publication said.

It is noted that the sirens worked according to protocol. There is no information about casualties or retaliatory strikes.

Earlier, on September 29, the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) announced an attack on several targets in Tel Aviv using a hypersonic ballistic missile. It is specified that the missile forces of the Yemeni armed forces used a Palestine-2 rocket with a split warhead to attack several important Israeli targets.
