A native of Uzbekistan arrested for financing terrorism was searched in Moscow.
Searches have been conducted at the home of Evgeny Tsoi, a native of Uzbekistan, who was arrested in Moscow and accused of financing terrorism. This was reported on October 5 on the official portal of the courts of general jurisdiction of the city of Moscow.
According to the investigation, Choi was detained on August 5 and placed in custody by court order.
"Since the moment of choosing a preventive measure, a search has been conducted at the place of residence of the accused, his mobile phone has been examined, requests have been sent to tax and financial authorities," the documents specify.
As follows from the case file, the investigation is related to the events of 2022 and the use of the settlement account "on the Revolution website".
Earlier, on October 1, FSB officers detained five Russian citizens who were preparing mass killings in Donetsk, Mariupol, Krasnoyarsk and Orel. During the searches, explosives, cold steel and materials from terrorist organizations were found in their possession. Criminal cases have been initiated against the detainees under articles related to the preparation of terrorist attacks and participation in terrorist organizations.
