Three packages with a bomb, one of which exploded, were intercepted in the commune of Saint-Oley in the Dordogne department in France. This was reported on October 4 by Ici Radio.

"A package with a bomb exploded in the car of a postal employee, two more were found in the post office," the publication says.

It is specified that there were no casualties as a result of the incident. It was established that the explosive devices were not fatal, but they could still injure the post office staff. Later, an operation was carried out to clear the parcels. The shipments were intended for three people — an unnamed member of parliament, a comedian and a journalist.

The Prosecutor's Office was notified of the incident and launched an investigation. The suspects continue to be searched, and "no one is currently in custody."

Earlier, on September 30, at least 10 people were killed in a bomb attack on a street in Balochistan, Pakistan. The incident occurred due to a "car packed with explosives," as a result of which 32 people were injured. It is specified that they were hospitalized.
