In Chicago, US law enforcement officers were attacked during a raid against illegal migrants. This was announced on October 4 by a representative of the Ministry of Internal Security (MIA). USA Tricia McLaughlin on the social network X.

McLaughlin noted in the publication that 10 cars surrounded the vehicles of federal law enforcement officers, and the latter, in turn, were forced to open fire.

The agents had no way to move their cars. One of the drivers who rammed a law enforcement vehicle was armed with a semi-automatic weapon, McLaughlin said.

"Law enforcement agencies were forced to use their weapons and open defensive fire on an armed US citizen, who drove herself to the hospital to receive treatment for her wounds," the publication says.

The representative of the Ministry noted that none of the agents were injured in the incident.

Earlier, on September 30, it was reported that four participants in a protest against the ICE immigration service near its facility in Chicago had been charged with federal charges. Hubert Mazur, Ray Collins, Jocelyn Robledo and Paul Avery were charged with assault and resisting federal officers. According to the court, Avery threatened the agents and damaged the car by getting into a fight with an internal security officer.
