A Russian citizen died as a result of flooding in Bulgaria
In the Bulgarian resort complex Elenite on the Black Sea coast, the body of the fourth victim of the flood was found, she turned out to be a 58-year-old Russian woman. This was reported on October 4 by the Bulgarian Telegraphic Agency (BTA) with reference to the statement of the deceased's spouse.
"We received a message from a Russian citizen who said that he had flown in from Russia today, unable to contact his wife. The family owns a villa in Elenita, in the outer part of the suburban area, where the water level was highest," the publication says.
It is noted that the man arrived at the scene and indicated to the emergency services the location of their house. The clearing team found his wife's body, which was buried under mud and debris.
A forensic medical examination was ordered to determine the causes of death.
