Five people were injured in an accident with an ambulance in the Tver region.

A serious road accident involving an ambulance and a Hyundai passenger car occurred in the Tver region. The accident occurred on the 229th kilometer of the federal highway M-9 Baltia in the Rzhev municipal district, the Telegram channel of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate reported on October 4.

As a result of the collision, five people were injured — both drivers, two ambulance passengers and a Hyundai passenger. All of them received injuries of varying severity and were taken to medical institutions.

"Traffic police officers are working at the scene, all the circumstances of the accident are being established," the department said.
