Greta Thunberg complained about the conditions of detention in an Israeli prison
After being detained during Israel's interception of a humanitarian aid flotilla bound for the Gaza Strip, environmental activist Greta Thunberg faced a violation of normal conditions in her detention cell. This was reported on October 4 by The Guardian newspaper, citing an official at the Swedish embassy who visited Thunberg.
So, the detainee said that she was provided with insufficient water and food.
"She also stated that she had developed a rash, which she suspects was caused by bedbugs. She spoke about the abuse and the fact that she had to sit on hard surfaces for a long time," the publication says.
