An accident involving several cars occurred on 89 km of the Moscow Ring Road
A traffic accident occurred on the outside of the 89th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road (after exit No. 91). This was reported on October 4 in the Telegram channel of the Department of Transport.
According to the agency, the operational services of the city are working on the spot, traffic in the area of the accident is temporarily obstructed by 1.8 km.
"The circumstances of the incident and information about the victims are being clarified," the department said.
The Department of Transport noted that motorists are asked to plan their route in advance and, if possible, choose alternative detours to avoid congestion. Specialists are working on the rapid restoration of traffic.
Earlier, on October 2, the Moscow Department of Transport announced that all the photo- and video-recording complexes in Moscow are real and record traffic violations. The cameras are equipped with infrared illumination and neural networks, which allows them to recognize cars even with dirty license plates and record several types of violations simultaneously. The ministry stressed that thanks to these systems, the accident rate on the roads is reduced by about 30%.
