Rescuers found a third participant in climbing a volcano in Kamchatka

Rescuers reached the third participant of the ascent, who was higher up the slope and was not injured. This was reported on October 4 in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Kamchatka Territory.

"They began her descent to a height of 1.5 thousand meters, where the doctors of the Disaster Medicine Center are located," the Telegram channel said.

The press service noted that the descent is complicated by heavy ice, as well as the steepness of the slope.

Earlier that day, it was reported that rescuers had found two climbers on the Vilyuchinsky volcano in Kamchatka. According to the main regional directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, one of the tourists injured on the Vilyuchinsky volcano died. The girl who fell off with him is in serious condition.

In addition, as noted by the Ministry of Health of the Kamchatka Territory, doctors also climbed the mountain on foot to the stranded climbers.
