The air defense forces destroyed 20 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia in two hours.

Air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 20 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over the regions of Russia. This was announced on October 4 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In the period from 11:00 Moscow time to 13:00 Moscow time, 20 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that 17 drones were eliminated over the Belgorod region, two drones were destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region and another unmanned aerial vehicle was shot down over the Orel region.

On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense systems destroyed 117 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of the Russian Federation overnight. Thus, 27 enemy UAVs were eliminated over the territory of the Bryansk region, 16 over the Volgograd region, 15 each over the Kursk region and the Republic of Crimea.

In addition, 11 drones were shot down over the territory of the Rostov Region, 10 over the Voronezh Region, and eight over the Belgorod Region. Six UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed over the Leningrad Region, four over the Kaluga Region, two drones each over the Novgorod Region and the Black Sea, and one over the Smolensk region.
