Kursk association "We help our people" delivered humanitarian aid to its fighters

The Kursk volunteer association "We Help our People" delivers humanitarian aid to the soldiers of the special military operation (SVO) on a weekly basis. Izvestia correspondent Sergey Prudnikov traveled with a team of girls to one of the border regions of the Kursk region.

The cargo includes warm clothes, personal parcels, homemade cakes, medicines, and unmanned vehicles. The girls also have a main job, but they collect humanitarian aid in their free time, after which they deliver it on their own.

Parcels to Russian fighters come from all over Russia, and homemade cakes are baked by the residents of the Kursk region themselves. Several women cook instant soups from natural ingredients at home in Kursk, which can be diluted with boiling water and satisfy hunger in the most difficult field conditions.

"The guys are especially happy about parcels from home, when they come to our warehouse and see parcels from their hometowns, they are so happy," said Elena Boldinova, an activist of the movement "Help our People".

The road to the village, where there are still almost no locals, is covered with explosives, and drones (UAVs) often appear in the sky. The girls give humanitarian aid to the doctors of one of the regiments of the Ministry of Defense, who visit the volunteers.

"Thank you for the warm clothes prepared and sent to us. Our wounded soldiers will be very grateful, especially in winter," said the major of the medical service with the call sign Gorets.
