The operator of the Austrian broadcaster ORF, detained by the Ukrainian TCC, appealed to the court

Andrei Neposedov, an operator of the Austrian television and radio company ORF, who was previously detained in Ukraine, is suing the TCC (territorial recruitment center, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) and the country's police. This was reported on October 4 by the Ukrainian edition "Страна.иа ".

"The day before, he [Neposedov] won the first victory in his case — the judges decided to open criminal proceedings against the Shopping Center and the police inaction in the Ternopil region during the detention of Neposedov, which he considers illegal," the Telegram channel said.

The publication noted that the official documents of the operator confirmed that he was dismissed from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), but the staff of the shopping mall ignored this fact and intended to send the former serviceman to the war again.

Alexander Neposedov's wife told "The Country.ua", that the operator spent several days in the shopping mall without explaining the reasons. According to her, when the staff of the Ternopil shopping mall realized that he would not be taken anywhere, they took Neposedov to the Zhytomyr region to say later that he had escaped.

On September 10, the ORF channel's press service reported that their operator had been detained by Ukrainian military commissars and sent to the shopping mall. According to the TV channel, the 53-year-old cameraman was traveling to the Ternopil region to film a story and was stopped by the police. Then the military commissar demanded documents and ordered Neposedov to follow him. After the arrest, the cameraman was transferred to the shopping mall, where he was forcibly detained.

On September 13, the OE24 TV channel reported, citing the head of the ORF bureau in Kiev, Christian Verschutz, that Neposedov had escaped. He also said that the cameraman and his wife spent the whole night in the woods in the car, fearing that they might be found. Then a lawyer joined them and took them to Kiev.
