SBU has put MGIMO Rector Torkunov on the wanted list

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has put on the wanted list the rector of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Anatoly Torkunov. This became known from the department's database on October 4.

According to TASS, Torukonov was put on the wanted list in June 2024. Earlier, he was charged in absentia under three articles, including for allegedly "encroaching on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine."

On September 27, it became known that the SBU had put Alexey Likhachev, the head of Rosatom Corporation, on the wanted list. He has also been on the wanted list since 2024.
