The commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who criticized the Kiev authorities, announced the disbandment of the UAV unit.

On October 3, Yuri Kasyanov, a platoon commander in a company of unmanned attack systems of the 10th mobile detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, announced the disbandment of his unit.

"A successful military team that has performed fantastic combat operations has been put under the knife by top corruption. <...> I consider it a crime, sabotage, and high treason that [the head of the office of the Ukrainian president, Andrei] Ermak, decided to liquidate our unit," he wrote on Facebook (owned by Meta, a company whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in Ukraine Russian Federation).

According to Kasyanov, Ermak made this decision in connection with criticism of the government of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
