17 pro-Palestinian activists detained in Prague for blocking trams
In the center of Prague, a group of about 30 pro-Palestinian demonstrators blocked the movement of trams, sitting directly on the rails. About this portal Idnes.cz On October 3, police spokesman Jan Danek said
"I can confirm that about 30 demonstrators blocked the movement of trams," he said.
According to him, the protesters refused to leave the place voluntarily, and special forces had to be deployed to disperse them. As a result, the police detained 17 activists. Tram traffic was restored two hours after the start of the action.
Earlier, on October 2, it was reported that in France, about 50 protesters blocked the road to the Longwick oil depot in the suburbs of Dijon. The activists opposed the policies of Prime Minister Sebastian Lecorn and budget cuts affecting the social sphere.
