One person was killed and four injured when an SUV overturned in Chita.

In Chita (Zabaikalsky Krai), as a result of an SUV hitting a concrete fence and then overturning, one person was killed and four injured. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred on Friday, October 3, on Vysokogorny passage. It was previously established that the 30-year-old Toyota Land Cruiser driver lost control. The car crashed into a concrete fence and overturned.

As a result of the accident, the motorist received various injuries, from which he died on the spot. Four of his passengers were hospitalized.

Later, the regional Ministry of Health told the ChitaMedia news agency that the condition of the victims was assessed as severe. Two of them are in the clinical hospital, two more are in the regional children's clinical hospital.

Police officers are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
