In the Amur Region, they announced the search for a contractor who will carry out major repairs of the Tsiolkovsky school built in 1963. This is reported by PriamurMedia news agency with reference to the documentation of the relevant auction on the public procurement portal.
We are talking about school No. 7, which is named after one of the founders of Soviet cosmonautics, academician V.P. Barmin. The maximum amount allocated for its repair is 193.78 million rubles. The final price will be announced after the results of the auction for the search for a contractor are summed up.
According to the documentation, the upgrade work will take place in two stages. The first one provides for repairs in the high school block, the second — in the elementary school. It is also known that the building will be decorated with a mural with the image of Yuri Gagarin.
It is planned to determine the contractor on October 15. He will need to complete the work by June 30, 2027.
According to the news agency, earlier the school building was examined by a commission, which revealed many comments. Among them are roof leaks, destruction of joints between slabs, damage to floors and ceiling slabs, electrical inconsistencies, and many others.
