- The psychotherapist named the reason for Rutte's failure to become Prime Minister of Estonia
Ruslan Pankratov, a psychotherapist and psychological security expert, explained the breakdown of NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte's attack on Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal.
In conversation with aif.ru On Friday, October 3, the expert noted that Rutte, known for his restraint, raised his voice against the Estonian Prime Minister due to accumulated stress.
According to Pankratov, Rutte's emotional reaction indicates much more serious contradictions within the alliance than it seems at first glance. The expert explained that the reasons for the disruption are related to fundamental disagreements on Russia's deterrence strategy.
He noted that Rutte, who is usually restrained and in control of his emotions, showed signs of accumulated stress, and his sudden loss of composure indicates that he has reached a critical point of patience. According to Pankratov, Michal behaved like a politician acting under pressure from "senior partners" from MI6 and Israel. The expert called his insistence on activating Article 4 of NATO four times in 2025 alone part of a well-thought-out strategy, and not random actions.
On October 2, it was reported that Rutte raised his voice in a conversation with Michal, expressing dissatisfaction with the frequent use of NATO Article 4 after the Russian MiG-31 flights. He stressed that such appeals, with excessive regularity, can devalue the treaty itself and weaken the alliance. Fox News channel noted that "NATO should be careful about how often it signals an alarm," writes RT. Rutte believes that it is not necessary to activate an article requiring consultations with the alliance for each individual incident, the journalists' interlocutors explained. 360.ru .
