The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, is discussing with Russia and Ukraine detailed proposals for restoring external power to the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP). He stated this on October 3.

"Both sides declare their readiness to carry out the necessary repairs on both sides of the front line. But for this, it is necessary to improve the security situation on the ground so that specialists can do their important work without endangering their lives," he is quoted as saying on the IAEA website.
