The RCN obliged the owners of Telegram channels to register via a bot

The launch of a special bot after submitting an application for registration of a Telegram channel with more than 10 thousand subscribers on the portal of public services is a mandatory stage for obtaining a label. This was announced by Roskomnadzor on October 3.

"After submitting an application for registration through the Public Services portal, it is necessary to launch a special bot from your Telegram account," the message on the department's Telegram channel says.

After launching the bot, the registration number received on Public Services must be checked with the one entered into the bot, there is no other procedure for confirming ownership of the channel, according to Roskomnadzor.

The agency warned that if the user skips this step, the application will automatically be returned with a formal rejection note.

Earlier that day, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation reported that the Gosuslugi portal had the opportunity to complain about problems with Internet connection in an apartment building. It is specified that you can use this feature if the management company does not allow the residents of the house to choose a provider.
