- The Ministry of Justice has added four NGOs from France, Georgia and Finland to the list of undesirable
On October 3, the Russian Ministry of Justice added four non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from Finland, Georgia and France to the list of organizations whose activities are considered undesirable in the Russian Federation.
The list includes: The Initiative for Resistance and Dialogues from Finland, the Eurasian Network of People who Use drugs from Georgia, Bart Marsho (Unity and Freedom) and The Assembly of Chechens of Europe (Assembly Chechens of Europe") from France.
The decisions on recognizing the activities of four organizations as undesirable in Russia were made by the Russian Prosecutor General's Office in September.
On September 2, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation declared undesirable the activities in Russia of the British NGO Royal United Services Institute for Defense and Security Studies (RUSI). It was noted that representatives of RUSI regularly conducted trainings and seminars, where, under the guise of countering the alleged "imaginary Russian threat, they discussed the tactics of Russia's combat and intelligence operations."
