The Russian government will allocate more than 4 billion rubles to support businesses in the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions. This was announced on October 3 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"We will send more than 4 billion rubles to the Belgorod, Bryansk, and Kursk regions as part of a comprehensive restoration program for these territories. <...> This is especially necessary now. It is important to increase the sustainability of businesses that create jobs in these regions," he said.

The Prime Minister specified that the funds will be used for subsidies and preferential loans for organizations and individual entrepreneurs, as well as for the payment of insurance premiums. According to Mishustin, this will help businesses to resume operations, reduce costs, purchase new equipment and establish the production of goods and services.

This year, as the Prime Minister recalled, more than 2 billion rubles have already been allocated to support enterprises in these areas, which made it possible to maintain production facilities and qualified specialists, as well as compensate for salary costs.

In addition, the government will allocate over 2.3 billion rubles to the Kursk, Bryansk and Belgorod regions so that the authorities can renovate and restore damaged kindergartens and schools. Mishustin instructed the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation to monitor the flow of investments into these entities.

On August 19, the Russian government announced the allocation of over 200 million rubles in aid for the Belgorod and Kursk regions. The funds will be used to pay for residents and support organizations providing housing and communal services. 150.5 million rubles were allocated to the Kursk region. They are aimed at supporting at least 25 organizations involved in the provision of housing and communal services.
