Two Russian tourists were evacuated from Turkey accompanied by medics after a bus accident in Alanya. This was announced on October 3 at the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Antalya.

"With the participation of employees of the Russian Consulate General in Antalya and an insurance company, a medical evacuation took place, accompanied by doctors, of two Russians injured in a traffic accident in the Alanya area," TASS quoted a statement.

It is noted that another Russian citizen was discharged from a medical facility. So, two Russians are currently undergoing treatment. In addition, a representative of the Consulate General visited the injured in the hospital to assess their health. In case of further positive dynamics, it will be possible to carry out their medical evacuation to Russia.

The Russian Consulate General added that the investigation into the circumstances of the accident with the tourist bus is also under control.

On September 23, a tourist bus was involved in an accident in Alanya. It was clarified that he collided with a minibus on the D400 highway in the Konakli area. It was noted that 18 Russian tourists were hospitalized. At the same time, there were more than 20 tourists from the Russian Federation on the bus at the time of the accident. Shortly after, a Russian man injured in the accident told Izvestia that the cause of the accident was the bus driver speeding, which led to a collision with other public transport.
