The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has recognized Marina Ovsyannikova, an ex-Channel One journalist, as a foreign agent. The relevant information was published on the official website of the ministry on October 3.
"Ovsyannikova disseminated false information about decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies, as well as false information aimed at creating a negative image of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation," the statement said.
