The Jetour T1 crossover may receive a hybrid modification for the Russian market, and the certification process has already been launched. This was reported on October 3 by the Chinese Cars portal, citing a source familiar with the certification process.

In China, the hybrid Jetour T1 in the front-wheel drive version is equipped with a powerplant with a 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 156 hp and a 204-horsepower electric motor. The all-wheel drive version is aggregated by two electric motors and generates 598 hp. The battery allows you to drive about 220 km only on electric power.

Sales of the Jetour T1 crossover started in Russia on September 16. The model is offered in two trim levels priced from 3.77 million and 3.95 million rubles, respectively. The crossover is available in a version with a two-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 245 hp, an eight-speed hydromechanical automatic and an all-wheel drive system. Later, a front-wheel drive modification with a 1.5 engine and a seven-speed "robot" will enter the market.

T1 is 4,705 mm long and has a wheelbase of 2,800 mm. The distance from bumper to bumper of the novelty is 80 mm shorter than that of the popular Russian model T2, while the wheelbase is the same.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Geely Monjaro model returned to the top three best-selling cars in Russia in the SUV segment (crossovers and SUVs) for the first time in 18 months, since April last year. In the rating, it lost to the leading Haval Jolion, which is produced in the Tula region, and the Belarusian-built Belgee X50, which became the second.
