Technopark to be built in Skolkovo Innovation Center

About 1 hectare of land was allocated in the Skolkovo innovation center for the construction of a new technopark. The main residents of the site will be organizations engaged in science and production in the field of fire safety, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on the channel at the IACH.

"More than 230 jobs will be created in the multifunctional complex combined with the fire station," Sobyanin wrote. The technopark is scheduled to open in 2027.

The mayor stressed that the status of an investment priority project (IPP) will allow the investor to reset the property tax rate. The rental rate of the land plot will decrease to 0.01% of the cadastral value.

Currently, 49 technoparks have been created in Moscow. They employ more than 2.2 thousand companies. Sobyanin noted that in 2024, Moscow's technoparks invested more than 80 billion in the city's infrastructure. The main areas of development include the renovation of engineering systems and the construction of production facilities and laboratories.

By 2030, Moscow plans to commission 2.5 million square meters. m of new production and office spaces and attract 475 billion rubles of investment, the mayor said.
