A Russian soldier surprised the doctors with his courage by bringing his severed arm into the operating room. On October 3, an anesthesiologist from the medical service of the Akhmat special forces and the 4th brigade of the 3rd Army of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation with the call sign Ketanov told about this.

"To put it simply, he brought us his left hand, and his right hand was held only by soft tissues. He walked into our operating room with his feet, almost winked at us, and lay down on the table absolutely calmly. We were amazed by his endurance, although we are used to different cases," he told RIA Novosti.
