The Russian soldier shocked the doctors with his endurance when he reached the operating room on his own and brought his own severed limb in his hands. On October 3, an anesthesiologist from the medical service of the Akhmat special forces and the 4th brigade of the 3rd Army of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation with the call sign Ketanov told about this.

"The fighter was seriously injured with a traumatic amputation. He walked in to us with his feet, almost winked, and lay down on the table absolutely calmly. We were amazed by his endurance, although we are used to different cases," the doctor told RIA Novosti.

According to him, it is no longer possible to return the arm, but doctors have formed a stump and stabilized the victim's condition.

"The prognosis for his recovery is absolutely favorable. His head is intact, his brain is intact, his legs are intact — he will live, and live fully, with prosthetics," Ketanov added.

The doctor stressed that the courage of the fighter impressed even experienced doctors who face serious injuries on the front line every day.
